Happy New Year

Happy New Year to each and everyone of you.
I have been rather neglectful of my blog the last few months--and hope to improve for 2012....
This card I made in October, but don't think I have shared it yet....so hope you like it. I think it could be used either for Christmas or Valentine's Day so let's go for Valentine's Day (hahaha)

Winter Greetings

Hello Everyone....
Boy has it been a rough month. This is the first card I have had time to make since my last post. We had to make an enexpected trip to Alabama...then I came home with a bad cold....then Thanksgiving came along and I have been trying to get my Christmas shopping and wrapping done. I tell you I was going thru card making withdrawals.
Anyway hope you like this card I put together today. The image is from Stamping Up colored with my Bics and Sharpies. The inside saying is from a set from TAC. Background paper was from the DCWV Rustic stack.

Good Evening All...
Here is yet another stamp from Sweet Celebrations. I think it was one of the very first I ordered from them. I love snowmen...and with the canycane border it just looked so Christmasy. Hope you like it as much I enjoyed doing it. Again colored with Sharpies and Bics....the snowflakes are the foam ones from Michael's....background paper from my stash Enjoy!

Hey!!!!I am really late getting this one put on tonight. Had another busy day though--and looks like tomorrow will be too!
This is another Sweet Celebrations stamp....colored with Sharpies and Bics. THe paper was from my stash and the Noel circle was from my Christmas stuff. Hope you like it.

First Oldie

Hello Everyone...
Sorry I didn't get this posted yesterday...but was out shopping and visiting my sister-in-law so didn't get the pics taken in time. I was learning how to use my circut (lol)
Anyway this is a stamp from a company called Sweet Celebrations who is no longer in business. I used to do home parties for them so I have tons of their stamps. (lol) I used Sharpies and Bic pens to color it. Hope you like my oldies this month.

Sorry I haven't updated much this month...but .....
I have a new goal for November. You all may think I am crazy but I have millions of stamps in my art room just sitting there. This month I have decided to use some of those stamps. So starting tomorrow I am using some very old stamps. In fact my first post will be a stamp from Sweet Celebrations. Sweet Celebrations is no longer in business and hasn't been for several years. So each day for November hopefully I will have an oldie but goodie for you..so stayed tuned.

Yey!!!!!!!! I did it. This is Sept 30 and I updated everyday this month......
This is one I did for a swap on one of my Yahoo groups. You had to use your cuttlebug on your card. I used mine cutting out my nesties and I cuttlebugged my background also.
Well girls I am going to take a break and get a few Christmas cards made...Will post again in a few days.....

Well , another day and another card. Only 2 days to go and I will have achieved my goal.

Hopefully I am on the mend now. I went to the Dr today...got an x-ray, 2 shots, blood drawn and a script.

Happy Birthday

Hello All...Well this month is winding down----and I have almost made it despite company and a horrific cold. This is day 6 of the cold. It is somewhat better but not good by far. I have slept in my recliner all week.....That is the only way I can breathe.
I loved this little cupcake so thought I would share it with you.

Hey it is the weekend. Hope you all have a great weekend. Also fall is here and we can sure feel it in the air here in Michigan.
I don't like to do Sympathy cards but we all need them from time to time, and I am hoping to also place some for sale in our local florist.

Well the holiday weekend for us here in America has come to end. It is back to work for most people. Boy am I glad I am retired.

Finally an update!

Well finally I am getting time to update. I promised some friends on a card group that I was going to update every day for the month of September.

Hello Everyone....
It has been a very busy month for me......I have had no time to make cards or do anything. We had 2 different sets of out of state company, and I babysat for my daughter a lot this month. Now top that off with yearly Dr physicals etc...and you can see (lol)
Anyway thought I would at least update with a card I actually made in June...I am hopeing to get some cards made soon...Looks like things will slow down for this month now---at least I hope so.
Hope you all are enjoying your summer cos before you know it--it will be back to school, then winter..and for us northerners you know that means that other 4 letter word beginning with S...
